Global Offshore Operations Manager

Cory Moore has oversight over 3D at Depth’s global offshore operations and manages the Company’s Houston, Texas location. His career has spanned over 20 years’ in the offshore Oil and Gas industry with expertise in hydrographic surveys, geophysical surveys, acoustic positioning, metrology and inspection surveys. For 3D at Depth, Cory is responsible for best practices, HSSE regulations and operational excellence around the world. He has direct oversight on 3D at Depth’s global survey support operations targeted to an expanding subsea LiDAR market to help reduce operational costs, increase efficiencies and provide flexibility to clients schedule. 

Cory has worked on both sides of the subsea survey value chain working in house with major oil and gas operators and as part of the team with tier #1 contractors and suppliers. This unique perspective provides additional insight into project delivery and client satisfaction. Throughout his career, Cory has utilized the best and most appropriate survey technologies and practices to meet client requirements without sacrificing operational excellence and survey data integrity. 

Cory has consistently driven efficient operations using new technology to enable growth while still delivering safe and economic projects. As a subsea survey engineer at Statoil and Chevron, Cory helped design, implement and oversee survey solutions for their global subsea projects in Europe, Africa and the Americas. For each multimillion dollar project, Cory was responsible for the entire project life cycle from early concept development through implementation, operations and maintenance. Cory also managed survey operations for Proserv and Subsea7 providing both business development and operations support to their North American region. In his earlier career he spent time offshore and as project manager for Fugro Marine Construction working with major operators and SURF contractors providing survey solutions for their deepwater fields.
